The NDIS is Australia’s first national scheme for people with disability. It provides funding directly to individuals who have permanent and significant disabilities. It is up to the individual participant of the scheme to decide what services and supports they require.nnThe NDIS has transformed how people with disabilities live their lives.nnAt Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association, we have seen how much better people’s lives can be under a scheme that gives the choice and control very firmly in the hands of the person living with a disability. This change to the entire industry has led to a greater number of choices being offered to people with disabilities.
If a 20-year-old person with a disability wants to go out on a Friday with their mates, we can make that happen, if this is identified as one of their goals within their NDIS plan.
And this is the important part, it comes down to how well you have prepared for your NDIS plan meeting. Our support coordinator can help you with this if you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the task. She can assist you, without any obligation. (Link to NDIS checklist HERE)
Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association provides support for NDIS participants in their own homes, in the community and with support coordination.
Our prices for these services are based on the NDIS Price Guide. This guide sets the limits as to what service providers for all sorts of services can charge participants. As a general rule, the Price Guide is updated in July each year. Phoenix Lifestyle Support Association charges the TTP Price for supports to participants in their own home and out in the community.
