The staff at Phoenix LSA provide personal care to individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Support staff are qualified, having either Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a Certificate IV in Disability. All our staff have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You”. They all have been screened for criminal history and hold a yellow card, many also hold a blue card that allows them to work with children and young people. Training for support staff is ongoing and includes training in augmentative and alternative communication, manual handling, positive behaviour support, incident management and assisting with medication. All staff are required to hold current CPR and Provide First Aid certificates.
